The Last Guardian

Short Desicription: This book truly is a must read, it’s about Medivh and how he is born almost into the role of the greatest mage of all time. His mother is the Chosen Guardian of Tirisfal and the way this works is all the most powerful mage’s in Warcraft come together to select a protector of Azeroth and the world of Warcraft, they each give a percent of their power to the choice mage which then become the guardian and they then protect the world against the Burning Legion, fighting daemons and kill all types of evil. Medivh’s mother is this guardian and as her role she fights the shade of Sargaris which is the daemon lord of the Burning Legion. She of course wins, but doesn’t realize that Sargaris has a hidden plan and a bit of his spirit goes into Medivh’s mother’s womb. Medivh is born and eventually gets corrupted and connects with Ner’Zhul the Orc and helps him build the dark portal, to allow the orcs into Azeroth.Read More about The Last Guardian

If you love playing world of warcraft or warcrafts, or even if you just like the theme then you must read the books, it allows you to continually grow with the game and get really passionate about each and everyone of the characters. There is nothing better then reading a novel or comic and watching and growing with a character that you fall in love with for what ever reason. This Website contains links to all the world of warcraft books and comics and also includes all the world of warcraft books in chronological order, allowing players and readers to follow along as characters come and go and develop. If you have played all the warcrafts and world of warcrafts then you will have allot better idea of the characters and the settings, while if you haven't you might be left in the dark on a couple of things, sadly there is no other way around this and bliazzard haven't released again to cover this in. If you must you can play for the warcraft and world of warcraft series to get a better understanding on the lore and history, and fill in those extra gaps.
Remember some of the books are better written then others and this is because they are written by different people. so you don't always get the smooth flow and transision from book to book, but I would encourage you to continue through all of them even if one or two are painful to read, because the story line still kicks ass!
