World Warcraft Vol 4 is written by Walter Simonson, Mike Costa, and Louise Simonson, who are all experienced World of Warcraft writers. Mike Bowden, Tony Washington, and Pop Mhan did the art. World of Warcraft Vol 4 is the most recent addition the best selling graphic novel series that is based on the multiplayer game. Did you know that World of Warcraft is the most played game in the history of online gaming? Well it is, so there’s no surprise that the series of books has also been popular.

World of Warcraft Vol 4 seeks to explore the fantasy world where gamers who live and breathe World of Warcraft spend so much of their time. In World of Warcraft Vol 4 is inspired by the incredibly popular MMORPG.

It begins with the formation of a new Council of Tirisfal occurs, followed by an attempt being made on the life of Med’an. This leads to the formation of a new Council of Tirisfal, which is a secret council made up of gnomes, high elven mages, and humans charge with selecting the Guardian of Tirisfal. The council was created by the most influential high elves to protect Azeroth from coming under attack from the demons. Sadly the Highborne ancestors were never able to accomplish this. Their name came from their meeting place.

Meryl and Garona team up – their goal is to take out Cho’gal the ogre. In the mean time Vallera, Marraad, and Med’an travel off to Kharazhan so that they can speak with Med’an’s father.

Med’an is the Guardian of Tirisfal, and the founder of the Council of Tirisfal. Thanks to his unusual heritage, and the training he has had Med’an has a unique gift where he can mix shamanic magic with the divine and arcane. However, it is has not always been to his benefit. In the past this gift has drawn him into cultist conflicts. The cultists don’t believe that Med’an is an ancient prophet and these dark entities would like to take his power from him and make it their own.

Med’an hasn’t been part of the WoW game or other media. Med’an appears in the World of Warcraft Vol 3 and Vol 4 comic series as the main protagonist. In the comic the three realms are Draenor for orc, Argus for draenei, and Azeroth for human – from the world where Med’an’s racial heritage originates.

Whether you are a gamer that’s hooked on World of Warcraft or just a novel reader of this series you’ll find it engaging and entertaining. There’s plenty of reasons why you should read volume 4, with its interesting storyline.

The graphics are much better than those we seen in World of Warcraft Volume 3, and you are already familiar with the writers. If you’ve enjoy the previous three volumes you’ll likely enjoy this volume as well.
